卡姆纳罗克湖（Lake Kamnarok）位于肯尼亚的凯里奥谷（Kerio Valley），是一处由凯里奥河（Kerio River）改道后形成的季节性牛轭湖。在丰水期，湖面面积可达约一平方公里，但每逢旱季，湖水会显著收缩甚至完全干涸，展现出其独特的动态自然特征。这片水域所在的卡姆纳罗克湖保护区（Lake Kamnarok Game Reserve）于20世纪80年代初设立，初衷是保护当地丰富的生态资源。
历史上，该保护区曾以非洲规模第二大的鳄鱼种群闻名，仅次于乍得湖（Lake Chad），同时栖息着大象、水牛、水羚和多种鸟类。然而，近年来，由于周边森林砍伐和农业活动导致的泥沙淤积、过度放牧、气候变化及水源流失等问题，湖区的生态环境承受着巨大压力。野生动物数量明显下降，栖息地范围不断缩小，这一变化也让人们更关注其可持续保护的必要性。

Seemed to be the only lake around that area that wasn't flooded when we visited. Alot of green cover good for the animals to graze though accessing the Lake wasn't easy.

Nice place... though the lake is slowly being covered by vegetation.

The Lake is being invaded by the famous water hyacinth. Someone to rescue it or else our next gen won't see.
