在纳米比亚偏远的库内内地区（Kunene Region），奥瓦辛巴生活博物馆为访客提供了一段深入班图半游牧民族日常生活的真实体验。这座露天村落由John Tjipurua与生活文化基金会于2016年合作建立，通过社区成员的带领，持续传承着包括黏土牛粪屋搭建、连接祖先与现世的“圣火”维护，以及陶器、木雕、皮革鞣制和铁器打制等传统手工艺。
参观者可以参与他们的日常仪式、体验食物制作过程、跟随丛林漫步认识药用植物，并加入充满感染力的歌舞表演。特别项目还提供奥瓦辛巴身体彩绘甚至传统婚礼场景的沉浸体验，现场提供英语讲解服务。博物馆位于奥普沃（Opuwo）与风景优美的埃普帕瀑布（Epupa Falls）之间，既有效延续了奥瓦辛巴人的文化脉络，也成为当地社群维持生计和凝聚文化认同的实际载体。

Wonderful visit. Our guide took his time to answer all our questions. We spent 3 hours in the village and learned a lot about the traditional life of the Himba. We also answered a few questions that the Himba had about us. I doubt the Himba live here 24/7/365, but it gave us an appreciation of what their live is/was like. We've visited aboriginals/first nations in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and across Africa and this was one of the best.
