The Water Clock of Fes, located near the Bou Inania Madrasa, is a fascinating historical landmark! Although it no longer functions, the intricate design and craftsmanship of the wooden windows and bowls are still impressive. My guide said take a picture of the clock. It doesn't look like a clock... but it is. It is being fixed at the moment and there is an impressive history behind it. It is the first water clock I have seen. I would definitely come back to Fez to see it in action!

Unique hydraulic clock, never have seen anything alike! Unfortunately it is not working but our guide told there are plans to restore at the end of 2023. 100% worth a visit

This is such an interesting find in Fez.. unfortunately no one alive in this world is able to make this wonder working again.. but it just looks amazing regardless
