博博迪乌拉索大清真寺建于1812至1832年间，是布基纳法索第二大城市的历史建筑。这座泥砖清真寺的修建与19世纪西阿王国和伊斯兰领袖阿尔马米·西迪基·萨努的结盟有关，当时该地区正面临凯内杜古王国的军事威胁。建筑采用苏丹-萨赫勒风格，两座宣礼塔和分为新旧两部分的礼拜厅是其显著特征，外立面可见传统木梁结构。1983年加建的铁皮顶庭院等修缮工程在维护建筑的同时保留了原始风貌。

Beautiful mosque. A lot of people if you’re white will ask you if you want a tour. Just say polite no and you won’t have any problems
